South Dakota legislative systems
Two years planned. Bill drafting delivered in one. South Dakota LRC planned two years for its bill drafting system. North Dakota recommended allowing three. We delivered the system in the first year and used the second to build the Legislature's public website.
Our engagement began in December 2018. Our ongoing work spans fiscal analysis, budget briefs, Excel reporting, committee workflows, Word integrations, and document publication.
The original agreement provides for client ownership of software and documentation, source code maintained in LRC's repository, and correction of defects at no additional charge.
Our founder, Jordan Block, developed South Dakota's Special Events Sales Tax application. It connects field and office staff with vendor licensing, GIS locations, and tax collection information. Staff can work offline and synchronize records when connectivity returns.
2017 FTA award winner

Our work for ByteWish Foundation spans timekeeping, payroll, paystubs, PTO, and invoicing, plus a date-aware Sales Tax Map built on our Sundial mapping engine and a browser-side ACH Toolkit. ByteWish Foundation publishes these products.
Our accessibility platform combines web and document scans, manual review, findings, and reporting. Our Sundial mapping engine supports location-based applications and geospatial engineering, with private alpha access.
Sundial ranks first overall in our September 2, 2026 comparison of seven mapping libraries. The public benchmark includes real parcel, address, and road workloads, raw measurements, published methodology, and a suite visitors can run themselves.

Data conversion is included. We never charge extra for conversion, including older records, regardless of how many years of history you bring forward. For South Dakota LRC, we brought in records dating to Dakota Territory that were missing from the system we replaced.
